The game is «Zapovedano»: eco-lessons for school

The project is aimed at the development of ecotourism and will help the reserve to make a big step towards financial stability, which will give strength and confidence in the further struggle for the survival of endangered snow leopards. Another goal of the project is to improve the environmental culture of schoolchildren and their knowledge of specially protected natural areas of the country.

Unfortunately, the ecological situation in the country worsens every year: reserves are destroyed, whole species of animals die out, rare plants disappear. Employees of reserves and national parks have an important task — environmental education of the population. The programme regularly hosts a variety of activities involving people of all ages, with a special focus on school children.

The game will be released in the desktop version and will be an ideal complement to the cycle of environmental lessons for students of schools of the Republic of Khakassia and the South of the Krasnoyarsk territory. The game will be interesting not only for schoolchildren, but also for all participants of mass ecological and educational events of the reserve. Further, the models of the game will be provided free of charge to other Federal specially protected natural areas of Russia, which will be able to develop according to the established scheme.
