«Why are tigers striped?»

Tiger – one of the most beautiful animals on Earth, the only "purely striped" representative of cats. Different species have slightly different patterns, but there are common trends. All games are unique, as are the stripes on their bodies. The main color of the fur is Golden, stripes from dark brown to black. The dark pigmentation of the skin is directly related to the color of the fur, so the tiger's skin is also covered with stripes.1.jpgThe pattern on a tiger's skin is like a human fingerprint, it never repeats itself. This seemingly garish drawing perfectly hides the tiger in bamboo thickets and in tall grass. The tiger is not one of those who long pursues the victim, so for a successful outcome, it needs to get as close as possible to it, - this is responsible for its masking color. Therefore, this bright predator is able to survive in any climatic conditions, and always find food. In addition, each species has its own distinctive features of stripes in order to recognize relatives of its flock.

Representatives of the most impressive drawings on the body:

1. Malay tigers5.jpgThey live only in the South of the Malay Peninsula. Thin black stripes on the muscular body provide the perfect camouflage in the jungle, and the white fur around the eyes, cheeks and belly gives a great extravagance to the image.

2. Bengal tigers6.jpg

Bengals have the longest fangs among cats, measuring about 100 mm. The coat of Royal tigers is orange, with black hair flowing down the sides. There are several colors: white with brown or black stripes on the sides, Golden tabby whitish-yellow with amber stripes.

3. South China tigers8.jpgThe Chinese tiger has yellowish fur with narrower and longer stripes than its Bengal relatives. In addition, males are larger than females, which indicates their sexual dimorphism.

4. Balinese tigers9.jpgDuring their existence, they were the smallest type of tiger. Their color was breathtaking, but unfortunately, people will no longer be able to enjoy the beauty and size of the majestic animals, the reason for this is poaching.11.jpgThe tiger is a representative of the dignity and strength of animal nature, its disguised beauty fascinates everyone. Unfortunately, the number of tigers around the world is getting smaller every year, and this is due to environmental degradation and poaching. As much as I hate to admit it, every human act has its own price, and sometimes it is too high...
