Dear friends, we are starting a new week with good news. On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, an experiment on environmental business consulting has been launched.
Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree according to which from December 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023, Rosprirodnadzor will provide business advice on the implementation of investment projects. This means that during the experiment, business representatives will have the opportunity to check investment projects for compliance with environmental legislation and avoid potential violations. During this period of time, Rosprirodnadzor specialists will help enterprises at every stage: both in the implementation process and at the project planning stage. Among other things, the agency will take preventive measures to identify problems at an early stage and find the most effective ways to solve them. The project will prevent the introduction of non-ecological technologies and preserve the environment.
"To conduct from December 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023 an experiment on consulting by the Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Environmental Management of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs on the compliance of their activities planned for implementation or carried out during the implementation of investment projects with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of environmental protection and environmental management," the text says Resolutions. The provisions of the document define the main objectives, among which are noted: consulting, organization of effective interaction, reduction of the number of violations, development of proposals for amendments to legislation, and others.
Svetlana Radionova, head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Environmental Management, calling the start of the experiment long-awaited, stressed: "This way we will get eco-friendly production, and enterprises will be able to operate in accordance with the requirements of environmental legislation."
The liberated territories of Donbass, which became part of the Russian Federation, will also take part in this experiment on consulting business by Rosprirodnadzor during the implementation of investment projects. This project is really necessary and important, because the identified violations of environmental legislation and actions potentially harmful to the environment can be eliminated or prevented at an early stage of the development of plans, construction, modernization or commissioning. This experiment can be a great help for ethical and environmentally friendly business.
