Exhibition and conference «Donbass Extraordinary»
Friends, yesterday an exhibition and conference was held within the framework of the Project * "Donbass is Extraordinary". Our Foundation has been working on its implementation for months. The aim of the Project was to preserve the historical and cultural heritage, natural resources of the Donetsk People's Republic, social adaptation of the residents of the DPR.
As part of the Project, the team of our Foundation organized an expedition to the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic to monitor the environmental situation on the ground, the results of which were presented yesterday at an exhibition-conference.
One of the results of the expedition was a virtual tour of the specially protected natural territories of Donbass. On our website you can enjoy and, practically, walk around these places https://notivory.com/upload/vtour/
Also, within the framework of the Project, a contest of photographs and drawings was held with the subsequent placement of the best works at the exhibition. The competition event was aimed at children aged 4 to 18 years, as well as professional and amateur photographers living on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic.
Several speakers, including environmental experts and representatives of the DPR, spoke at the exhibition-conference, who shared their impressions of the exhibition and told a lot of interesting information in their reports about nature, famous figures and the history of Donbass.
The report of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Donetsk People's Republic to the Russian Federation Olga Aleksandrovna Makeeva was dedicated to the natives of Donbass, who left their mark on the history of the Russian state in various fields of activity.
Russian Russian People's Republic Chairman of the State Committee on Environmental Policy and Natural Resources under the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic Roman Vladimirovich Kishkan presented a presentation – "Donbass — Russian history, Russian nature", in which he, in particular, told about the Don Cossacks, Old Believers and Greeks of the Azov region, who played a significant role in the development of the region.
Vladimir Ivanovich Fedin, an expert of the Notivory Foundation on certification, conformity assessment and licensing in the field of atomic energy use, presented a report on the use of atomic energy. In his speech, he noted the need to coordinate the activities of federal executive authorities in order to adapt the new regions of Russia to the requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation. In order to ensure a favorable environment in the region and the protection of the population from possible radiation hazards, it was proposed to create a working group to develop the necessary measures in the field of nuclear energy use in the liberated territories, including an inventory of nuclear energy facilities and an assessment of the radiation situation.
An expert in the field of ecology Arkady Albertovich Kudzoev reported on the environmental situation in the Donbas, spoke about the Donetsk Ridge Park and suggested considering changing the category of landscape and recreational park to the Donetsk Ridge National Park.
