Notivory volunteers have joined their ranks!
Volunteers joined the environmental initiative for garbage collection organized this weekend by the Notivory Foundation on the shoreline of an artificial reservoir on the Simka River near the village of Matveishchevo in the Yuriev-Polsky district of the Vladimir region.
Together, we managed to clear the territory of the coastline with a length of about 1.5 km. Now it will be much more comfortable for the Red Book birds to live here and breed their offspring.
The event was also of an ecological and educational nature, accompanied by informational materials, informative stories of curators about rare birds and rules of behavior when meeting wild animals. Someone even managed to see a red-necked toadstool live and capture rare shots, however, from afar, so as not to scare her.
Each participant was awarded a letter of thanks, and our Foundation has replenished its ranks with responsive, kind and not indifferent to the problems of nature people.
We thank all the volunteers and look forward to seeing you again!
The project is being implemented with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund.
