On the front line of the Donetsk People’s Republic

Good afternoon, dear friends! Today we want to draw attention to the news agenda and tell about the current situation on the front line of the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic.
Acting Head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Vladimirovich Pushilin indicated that by December 13, more than 50% of the territory of the DPR had been liberated from the Ukrainian military. "A little more than 50 percent of the territories of the Donetsk People's Republic have been liberated. If we are talking about the population, this is the most important thing for us, then the figure is much higher here, because the population in the liberated settlements is quite large than in the territories not yet liberated," Denis Pushilin said. He noted that the main task is to liberate the entire territory of the Donetsk People's Republic within the constitutional borders, and the units are doing everything possible to achieve this goal as quickly as possible.
Denis Pushilin explained the situation in each direction, stating that "the situation on the front line remains difficult. But, nevertheless, our units continue to move forward. If we are talking about the Ugledar direction, then the enemy does not abandon attempts to counterattack, but our units repel attacks and move forward. Just not as fast as I would like. But every 50-100-200 meters sometimes play a significant role in the liberation of settlements."
According to the statement of the acting head of the DPR, "fighting is constantly taking place in the Maryinsky direction, quite heavy fighting directly at the development of the Maryinka itself or at what remains of this territory. The enemy continues to pull up reserves, trying to recapture those positions that he lost. But, nevertheless, our units repel these counterattacks and continue to advance meter by meter directly into the settlement of Maryinka itself."
Denis Pushilin also reported on the progress in the May Day direction, which is significant for the liberation of people: "This, in turn, minimizes the chances of the enemy reaching directly to settlements. In particular, it will be safer for Donetsk. I think Avdiivka is needed now to stop the shelling of both Donetsk and Yasinovataya."
According to Pushilin, in the direction of Mayorsk, "positions are also being held within the framework of those attempts of counterattacking actions of the enemy, there are also advances in the direction of Dzerzhinsky."
"As for Artemivsk, in the Artemivsk direction, we now see that the fighters of the Wagner unit are cleaning Yakovlevka in the Soledar direction and continue to work in the vicinity of the city of Artemivsk in order to create the necessary conditions for a more complete cleaning of Artemivsk itself," the acting head of the Donetsk People's Republic said.
According to estimates, the damage caused by Ukraine to the Donetsk People's Republic since 2014 amounts to more than 1.3 trillion rubles. "Such figures were estimated approximately, the representative of the Donetsk People's Republic in the Human Rights Council Elena Shishkina called these figures. That is, if we talk only about destroyed housing, then the figures are very approximate, since the 14th year - 1.3 trillion rubles, even more than this amount. But here we also need to take into account the destroyed enterprises, here we also need to take into account the destroyed infrastructure, critical infrastructure facilities," Denis Pushilin said.
You need to understand that all the results are intermediate, and the estimates are preliminary.
