We invite you to participate in the festival «My Snow Leopard»!

This year, the International Media Festival of Wildlife "My Snow Leopard" is being held for the tenth time. Everyone can contribute to the preservation of the snow leopard by becoming a participant of the Festival.

Today, unfortunately, there is not a very favorable situation for many species of cats, not only in our country, but also in the world. Human development of animal habitats, hunting and poaching lead to a reduction in their numbers. I would like as many people as possible to think about our smaller brothers with moustaches and realize the seriousness of the problem associated with reducing their numbers.

To encourage through creativity to preserve the rarest and mysterious wild cat of our planet - the snow leopard, as well as its habitat - is one of the main objectives of the wildlife festival "My Snow Leopard". Using the example of the snow leopard, the organizers want to draw the attention of society to the problem of endangered and rare species and contribute to the formation of a responsible and careful attitude towards nature in general among the population. The more people know about the problem of the snow leopard, the more chances there are to preserve this unique predator.

The International Media Festival of Wildlife "My Snow Leopard" was established in 2013 by the State Natural Biosphere Reserve "Sayano Shushensky" and the State Nature Reserve "Khakassky" with the support of the All-Russian public Organization "Russian Geographical Society" (Khakass Republican branch).

To participate in the Festival , competitive works are accepted in the following categories:
- "Research abstract";
- "Literary creativity" (poems, prose);
- "Video creativity" (footage, animation, video clip);
- "Souvenir";
- "Drawing";
- "The idea of a print for printing on T-shirts."

The results will be announced at the end of the summer. This year, the winners of the Festival will go on an excursion to one of the most picturesque places of the Republic of Khakassia - the "Oglakhty" section of the Khakassky Reserve, or visit the multifunctional center "Pozarym", located in the mountainous taiga part of the Republic of Khakassia on the territory of the reserve of federal significance "Pozarym named after V. M. Zimin".

Please note that the organizers bear only excursion expenses and provide support for participants during departure. Payment of transportation costs to the Republic of Khakassia, accommodation (if necessary), meals - is carried out at the expense of participants.
