We invite volunteers!
The main goal of the project is to preserve the population of waterfowl, their habitats and nesting sites, paying special attention to birds from the Red Book of the Russian Federation.
Research and environmental education activities are planned within the framework of the Project. An expedition will take place, according to the results of which a short film will be released about waterfowl, their habitats and nesting sites, including rare red-book ones. To support the biodiversity of waterfowl, artificial nests will be installed, information notices about inhabited bird species and the rules of human behavior in this area, warning signs for owners of water transport.
The program will also include an environmental initiative to collect garbage on the shoreline of an artificial reservoir on the Simka River with the participation of volunteers. The event will be supplemented with informational materials and a lecture.
A collective drawing contest on the theme "Let's save the Red Book birds of Russia together!" will be organized for schoolchildren.
In order to attract the attention of the general public, a panel discussion is planned with the involvement of experts in the field of ecology and environmental protection, representatives of environmental organizations, the main purpose of which is to consolidate efforts to improve the ecological culture of the population and exchange experience on the local conservation of endangered species of animals.
The Foundation invites everyone to take part in its program! Volunteering provides an opportunity to become a part of a significant cause, gain new knowledge and experience, find like-minded people and friends. For schoolchildren and applicants, participation in the volunteer program will add additional points when passing the Unified State Exam and entering universities.
"We thank the Presidential Grants Fund for a unique opportunity! The support of our foundation will help to successfully implement the project "Let's save the Red Book Birds of Russia together!" and inspire new good deeds," says Svetlana Vaganova, Director of the Notivory Foundation.
