«Donbass is Extraordinary»
The Notivory Foundation has prepared a project for implementation, the purpose of which is to preserve the historical and cultural heritage, natural resources of the Donetsk People's Republic, social adaptation of the residents of the DPR. To achieve this goal, we will take measures to popularize the domestic ecotourism of the Russian Federation, provide information about the ecology of Donbass, its problems and ways to solve them.
The main direction of the Project is to provide assistance to the population in the Donbas and the liberated territories, including assistance in obtaining the necessary social and psychological assistance, organizing charitable and volunteer activities for these purposes.Within the framework of the Project, it is planned to:
- organize an expedition on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic to monitor the environmental situation on the ground and provide an expert assessment for further presentation at the exhibition-conference in order to inform the general public, popularize domestic ecotourism and draw the attention of the population to the environmental problems of Donbass and contribute to finding ways to solve them;
- contribute to the popularization of domestic ecotourism by creating a virtual tour of specially protected natural territories of the Donetsk People's Republic;
- to attract the attention of creative people and children to the environmental agenda by organizing a contest of photographs and drawings with the subsequent placement of the best works at the exhibition;
- to highlight the environmental problems of Donbass by holding an exhibition-conference on the nature of Donbass with presentations by experts in the field of ecology and environmental protection with an online broadcast on the Internet. The exhibition – conference will become a platform for the exchange of experience and ideas among experts in the field of ecology and environmental protection.
To implement the tasks set, a number of events will be held, such as: sending assistance with the provision of the necessary technical equipment, resources and equipment for the successful completion of the tasks set; conducting an expedition on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic by representatives of the Foundation, including an ecologist and a journalist, in order to monitor the environmental situation for subsequent performance at an exhibition-conference dedicated to the nature of Donbass. Providing an expert assessment of the environmental situation in the Donbas to inform the general public. A virtual tour of the specially protected natural territories of the Donetsk People's Republic will also be created to inform more people about the territories and specially protected places of Donbass; a contest of photographs and drawings will be held with the subsequent placement of the best works at the exhibition (three nominations: "Best mobile Shooting", "Best professional Frame", "Best Drawing"). The event is aimed at children aged 4 to 18 years, as well as professional and amateur photographers living on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic; An exhibition and conference on the nature of Donbass was held with presentations by experts in the field of ecology and environmental protection, with an online broadcast on the Internet. The exhibition – conference is positioned as a platform for the exchange of experience and ideas among experts in the field of ecology and environmental protection.
The successful implementation of the Project will help the civilian population exchange experience between experts in the field of ecology, popularize the historical, cultural and natural heritage of Donbass among the population of the Russian Federation, contribute to the development of domestic ecotourism in the Russian Federation and draw public attention to the environmental agenda, as well as help establish links between environmental organizations of Russia and representatives of the region for further productive cooperation.
